Our story

Located on the beautiful island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines, Angel House is the sole institution of its kind in the province of Davao Oriental, offering refuge to abandoned, abused, orphaned, and neglected children from birth until the age of ten. These vulnerable children, referred to us by social workers, find solace and security within the walls of Angel House. Established in June 2010, the Angel House Orphanage Foundation is fully registered, licensed, and accredited by both the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Our scholarship and feeding initiatives have a profound impact on the lives of underprivileged families residing in the local community, and they remain an integral component of our comprehensive range of programs and services.

Angel House is about people

People and culture

Our uniqueness stems from the dedication and compassion of our people. Our team of professionals consists of individuals who are not only caring but also provide love and protection to these vulnerable children. A number of our staff members have been part of our organization for numerous years, ensuring a consistent level of care for clients who have endured traumatic events that have greatly affected their young lives. Through attending regular seminars and workshops, our staff members receive professional training that keeps them well-informed about the latest advancements in child care and DSWD regulations.
